Tetbury Lions Club is a Cotswold based charity which has been actively fundraising for over 50 years. We are a group of men and women who want to serve and support our local community in whatever way we can and help those less fortunate than ourselves both at home and across the world. We are part of the worldwide Lions Organisation, which is one of the largest service organisations in the world. Our universal motto is ‘We Serve – We Care’ which simply means that we try to help those less fortunate than ourselves.
Our Club was founded (Chartered) in 1973, and Malcolm Philby, one of the original members, is still an active member of the club. Our activities include regular support for the local schools and food bank, the annual Christmas and Easter Raffles. We raise funds in many ways, but our principal fundraiser is the publication of the monthly Tetbury Advertiser, where you can read all about our activities and social events. Better still, why not join us on the first Wednesday of the month at the Priory Inn, London Road, Tetbury. Meetings start at 7.30pm
